Zlatan Ibrahimović received a warm welcome upon his return back to Serie A giants AC Milan.

The Swedish international is back in Milan to undergo a medical and sign his new contract for the Rossoneri.

His contract includes a six-month deal with the option for an additional season.

The beginning of a new decade with AC Milan

Ibrahimović rejoins AC Milan at 38-years-old, eight years after his first stint with the club.

During his first two years at the San Siro, the forward scored 56 and notched 24 assists on his way to helping the club with their last Scudetto in 2011.

AC Milan currently sits 11th place in the Serie A table with the hope that Ibrahimović's arrival galvanizes the entire team.

“I always said this is my home, I'm finally back,” said Ibrahimovic upon his return.

AC Milan welcome back an older “lion” who — based off his 53 goals and 15 assists in 58 for LA Galazy — still has plenty of goals in his arsenal.
