Red Devil fans are already labeling him a “genius.”

Mejbri's quick-thinking free-kick curler

The 20-year-old Manchester United loanee gave Birmingham the 1-nil lead when he buried an improvised strike past West Brom goalkeeper David Button to give his side the lead. Mejbri caught Button off guard and sent the ball curving straight into the net.

It'll be interesting to see what Erik ten Hag decides to do with the player after he returns to Old Trafford. The Tunisian central midfielder is already doing the “dirty work” in the and, with aggressiveness, plans to take his emerging talent back to the Premier League.

“I think I have some good technical ability and I can play some good passes,” said the youngster, who also notched an assist in the match.

“I see things maybe earlier than some other players. But since I am in the Championship, I have seen that I need to work on my physical capabilities. It is making me a better player.

“As a Championship No 8 you have to contest the second balls. You don't really see this dirty work as much in the Premier League, but it is really important in the Championship. If you don't pick up those second balls or win your duels you can feel it straight away.”
