The 2001 season was a strong one for AC Milan, but nothing could top their victory over Inter in May. The scoreline was as emphatic as the performances on the pitch. Shevchenko's brace and goals from Comandini (he'd only score one other strike in his brief Milan career), Albertini, and Serginho led to a resounding 6-0 victory for AC Milan.

2. Inter Milan 4-2 AC Milan (2020)

4. Inter 0-3 Milan (2005)
This thrilling Champions League quarter-final is one of the few times the Milan Derby showcased on Europe's biggest stage. It also provided the backdrop for one of the most iconic images in world football, with opponents Marco Materazzi and Rui Costa standing side by side, watching flares drop down from the stands.
