See a 124-acre Messi immortalized in Argentina corn field

Messi's face has been everywhere these days since winning the World Cup.

From bespoke gold kits to the new Argentinian 1000 pesos to baby names (Lionel or Lionela anyone?) he's officially become as big as Maradona. But this face takes the cake.

Planting seeds of greatness

Argentinian farmer Maximiliano Spinazze planted corn seeds in his field that grew in the specific pattern of Messi's face.

The algorithmically grown 124-acre image on Spinazze's farm in Los Condores is so large it's visible from space.

“For me Messi is unbeatable,” the farming engineer told Reuters.

“Now they are world champions, I am delighted this can be expressed by planting the crop.”

Talk about goat farming.
