According to Sky Sports, Real Madrid are reportedly going to make a bid of £70m cash plus for Raheem Sterling.

The 24-year-old Manchester City winger is enjoying another stellar season under boss .

Sterling has played 206 games with an impressive 82 and 70 assists to his name. He leads all players in 2019 with 53 combined goals and assists, two more than Messi.

Sterling is currently 5th in the Golden Boot race with 7 goals.

Real Madrid's second attempt for the England international

This is not the first time Real Madrid have shown an interest in Sterling.

Sterling's representatives met with Real Madrid this past summer, but Los Blancos failed to make a winning bid.

This time around Real Madrid are hoping to test City's resolve. But Guardiola is less interested in the prospect of 30-year old Bale coming to the Sky Blues.

It seems unlikely Pep would agree to swap his game-changer in Sterling for someone who is repeatedly injured.

Bale's representatives don't seem too fond of the proposal either, calling the rumors “complete rubbish.” Bale has also explored a possible move to the Chinese Super League.
