Messi guides FC Barcelona to its 26th La Liga title, Messi's 10th

FC Barcelona celebrated back to back La Liga titles over the weekend after beating Levante one nil. It is the Blaugrana's 4th title in the last 5 seasons and 26th league title overall. Only Real Madrid have more La Liga titles with 33.

Lionel Messi came on as a substitute to score the game-winning goal in the 62nd minute. It was his 34th goal of the season which equals last year's tally. It was also his 24th strike as a substitute, the most by any player coming off the bench this century!

This is Messi's first league title as captain of the club — the legendary player now has 10 La Liga titles under his belt with a chance to add a Copa del Rey and Champions League trophy by season's end.
