With 24 hours left in the English transfer window, Christian Eriksen's name has reemerged as a possible last-minute signing for Manchester United.
The 27-year-old attacking midfielder expressed his interest in a move earlier this summer, with his sights set on Real Madrid. However, Zidane and company have yet to make a bid for the Danish playmaker.

It also appears that Eriksen has rejected United's £70million bid, insisting on a move to Spain. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy would prefer to sell to a non-Premier League club as well.
Should Tottenham hang on to Eriksen?
While Tottenham demand an enormous £130million asking price for Eriksen, they also risk losing Eriksen on a free transfer next season.
Given the situation and Eriksen's demand to move abroad, it's no surprise to see Real Madrid and even Atletico Madrid waiting a bit longer to see if they snag Eriksen at a discounted price before La Liga transfer window closes on September 2.
With other moving pieces at play including Tottenham's interest in Dybala and Coutinho and Real Madrid's pursuit of Pogba, one can expect the Eriksen transfer saga to persist into the final minute of both the English and Spanish transfer windows.
