Adidas debuts marble-infused new kits for Italy

A new era begins for the Gli Azzurri as Adidas becomes the team’s new kit maker.

It's been forty years since the two last collaborated, with the much-anticipated home and away jerseys dropping today.

The new campaign entitled “La Ricera” (“The Search”) sees Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and midfield ace Martina Rosucci pair up with Azurri legend Alessandro Del Piero in search of the country's new kit.

And the results are striking.

2023-24 Italy Home Shirt

The Adidas 2023 home shirt takes inspiration from Italy's marbled past.

The predominant blue colorway infuses white milky hues intended to illustrate the elegance of decorative blocks of chiseled marble.

The Adidas logo and crest feature on the chest, while three white stripes flank the shoulder halfway. Subtle hints of green, white, and red from the country's flag parallel the iconic stripes.

There's also a nuanced gold lining detailed on the collar and cuffs.

2023-24 Italy Away Shirt

The Adidas 2023 away kit home adopts the home shirt template but flips it to a predominantly off-white colorway, enhancing the chiseled marble features.

This time, a dark navy blue trims the kit on the collar and cuffs while flanking the shoulders with the iconic Three stripes.

Meanwhile, the goalkeeper's kit embraces a unique neon green shirt with an identical logo and crest placements matching the home and away kits.

Could this be the kit that reignites Italy back to World Cup glory?

The Azurri are scheduled to wear the kit in March ahead of their match against England in the UEFA Euro qualifiers.

#1. Who is the second top-leading EPL scorer behind Erling Haaland?

Harry Kane is the correct answer. He's scored 26 goals, putting him ahead of Ivan Toney (20), Mo Salah (19), and Marcus Rashford (16). Haaland, of course, leads the league with 35 record-breaking strikes.
