Adidas is set to release exclusive tricolor stripes for some of the biggest clubs in football, starting with Real Madrid and Manchester United next season.
The tricolor stripes are expected to feature on some of the team's training gear for the 23/24 campaign. The teams are still deciding if the tricolor will appear on one of the kit versions as well.
Adidas released a clothing range celebrating Arsenal's link to France earlier this year. The Gunners are honoring the French players who spearheaded the 2003/04 âInvinciblesâ season two decades ago.
âThe France Packâ features a mix of hoodies, tracksuit top, pants, T-shirt, and windbreakers. The blue, white, and red tricolor vertical stripes run down all the clothing.
Adidas have also released uniquely colored stripes on national kits, most notably the iconic France 98 kits and the ones Spain wore during their 2010 World Cup triumph.
Real Madrid and Manchester United 23/24 Tricolor
The 23/24 training kits may be the first iteration of clothing to get the tricolor stripes. The three-color combination would be gold, turquoise, and purple stripes on top of a dark navy colorway.
It's not hard to imagine how savvy and would the tricolor would look on Real Madrid's home, away, or third kit jerseys.
Meanwhile, the Manchester United training collection is set to feature white, green, and red stripes, popping out on a black colorway. It remains unknown how those bold colors could project on the new kit versions of the upcoming season.
However, if the AFC Ajax Bob Marley âThree Little Birdsâ edition could offer any ideas, this is it. Glorious.
